Started with a spreadsheet and too much coffee

Back in 2019, our founder Cassidy was working late at a community centre in regional New South Wales. Three families came in that week, all stressed about the same thing—they had income, but somehow the bills kept winning.

That's when grovixento began. Not in a boardroom, but at a kitchen table with actual people trying to figure out where their money was going.

We're not a bank. We're your planning partner.

Most financial services want to sell you something. We wanted to teach people how to actually use what they already have.

By 2021, we'd helped over 200 households across regional Australia map out realistic budgets. Not fantasy budgets where you never buy coffee again—real plans that account for how people actually live.

What started as evening workshops in Albury grew into something bigger. But we kept the same philosophy: listen first, judge never, and build plans that work for Monday mornings, not just spreadsheets.

Today we serve families and individuals across New South Wales, helping them see their money clearly and plan confidently. Some weeks that means building an emergency fund. Other weeks it's just figuring out how to stop overdraft fees.

What actually drives our work

Honest conversations

We don't use jargon to sound smart. If something doesn't make sense to you, we'll explain it differently until it does.

Practical tools

Every strategy we share is something we've tested with real clients. If it only works in theory, we won't recommend it.

Long-term support

Financial plans change as life changes. We're here for the adjustments, not just the initial setup.

Background

Cassidy spent six years in community services before starting grovixento. She has a diploma in financial counselling and certification in family budgeting—but honestly, most of what she knows came from sitting across the table from hundreds of households.

She grew up in rural Victoria where money was tight but people were resourceful. That background shaped her approach: waste nothing, plan realistically, and always keep a backup plan for your backup plan.

When she's not reviewing budgets, she's probably at the local farmers market or trying to convince her herb garden to survive another summer.

How we actually work with clients

Step-by-step budget planning process with detailed financial documentation
1

Initial discovery call

We talk through your current situation. No sales pitch, just questions about what's working and what isn't.

2

Money mapping session

You bring your bank statements, we bring the coffee. Together we map where money actually goes versus where you think it goes.

3

Build your framework

We create a budget that matches your life—not someone else's idea of what your life should look like.

4

Monthly check-ins

Plans drift. We help you adjust as life throws surprises—and it always does.

Ready to sort out your budget?
